We have Oregon Coast Aquarium Culture Passes! 

What is a Culture Pass you ask?

Culture Pass is a program for Tillamook County Library (TCL) cardholders. Using their library card, adult cardholders can checkout a pass and get free admission to the Oregon Coast Aquarium. You + 3 = FREE

Is it that simple?

Almost. Here is some more information and guidelines:

• Who can use a Culture Pass? Adult Tillamook County Library cardholders in good standing are eligible to checkout a pass.
• Who is not eligible for a Culture Pass? Juvenile cardholders, temporary cardholders, and teacher cards cannot be used to checkout a Culture Pass. Any adult cardholders not in good standing with the Library will not be able to checkout a Culture Pass.
• What if I don't have a library card? If you live in Tillamook County, you can come in to any of our 7 locations and complete a library card application. 
• How do I checkout a Culture Pass? You can checkout a Culture Pass at the Tillamook County Main Library at 1716 3rd St. Tillamook, OR, 97141. They are kept with Ms. Melanie in the Children's room. You may also call Melanie at (503) 842-4792 ext.1784.
• Is there an age limit to use a Culture Pass? You must be an adult cardholder to checkout a Culture Pass.  
• How often can I checkout a Culture Pass? A Culture Pass can be checked out one time per household per calendar year.
• How is a "household" defined? A household is everyone who resides at the same address.
• How many Culture Passes can I checkout? You can check out one Culture Pass every 12 months. If you checkout a pass but do not use it, you won't be able to checkout a pass again until the next calendar year. 
• How many people is the Culture Pass good for? The Culture Pass grants you and up to 3 family members free general admission to the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Be prepared to pay admission for additional family members. Passes are only valid towards general admission, and do not apply to any Aquarium events. Passes are not transferable and can only be used by the patron who checked it out. 
• When are new passes available? 4 passes will be available for checkout at the beginning of each month. For example, on November 1, passes for November 1st to the 30th will be made available and patrons. Passes can be used at anytime throughout the month.
• Why can't I checkout a Culture Pass? There may be a couple reasons. There may be no passes available, and you may have to try again at the beginning of next month. You may no longer be in good standing with the Library. Or, you've already used your pass for the year.
• How do I cancel an active Culture Pass checkout? Please call or visit Melanie at the Tillamook County Main Library at (503) 842-4792 ext. 1784 or in the Children's room at 1716 3rd St. Tillamook, OR, 97141.
